Rear deck is down

Page 1 , last page , next page

The rear deck is permanently in place and ready for glass. The white hatches are Armstrong hatches which are quite water tight and very simple to install. The circular ones by the cabin bulkhead will later be contained within boxes that will double as steps into the boat. The larger rectangular ones on port and starboard will be general storage for things that are ok to get wet... like fenders and tie off ropes. The large rectangular opening is the fish box. 40"x31" x 10" deep in the center. The rear most opening is the bilge. The access ports over the fuel tank connections will be sealed with lexan screwed down onto neoprene gaskets. I hope to not need to access those connections except rarely so that will be a water tight yet still removeable port.
